Below is our track schedule for the upcoming weeks.

Track PROGRAMME
Track sessions are structured intervals to help you develop aerobic fitness and endurance skills in a safe environment. Each session focuses on a specific type of training; speed, endurance, threshold, and speed endurance – plus some fun stuff!
To get the best out of the intervals, we use pace groups to enable runners to select their individual pace group and train with others of a similar ability. Intervals are tailored to the pace groups and each track session is guided by an experienced coach or leader.
The track programme is designed to complement a well considered wider training plan.

Sessions
Speed endurance – Longer speed sets with recovery intervals
Endurance – Training at Lactate Threshold Pace (LTP) or slower
Fun/low-impact – sessions which introduce social
games, integrating runners across pace groups. Also includes sessions such as time
trials.
Can’t make track night? You can use the track at Lewes Leisure outside of our Monday night sessions.
Days of casual use at Lewes Athletics track are (daylight permitting):
- Weekdays 07:30-08:30
- Monday 17:00-18:00
- Friday 17:00-21:00
- Saturday 14:00-16:00
- Sunday 09:00-16:00
The cost is £4.90 per visit Adults.
Concessions: Junior, student & Senior £2.50 per hr
