As with the Seniors there are equivalent Junior awards some of these awards are given out each year and are not all for athletic prowess!

Seaford Striders Junior Awards
The various awards are summarised below. The winners of the various awards over the years can be found here :-
Junior Boy Club Trophy
Awarded to the boy who has made continuous effort during the year, by the Juniors’ Leader.
Junior Girl Club Trophy
Awarded to the girl who has made continuous effort during the year, by the Juniors’ Leader.
Achiever Award Trophy
Awarded to the boy or girl who has made good progress during the year, by the Juniors’ Leader,
Best improver (boy)
Donated by Bill Young, awarded to the boy who has made the best improvement during the year, by the Juniors’ Leader
Best improver (girl)
Donated by Bill Young, awarded to the girl who has made the best improvement during the year, by the Juniors’ Leader
Poser award(Donated by Glynis Breeds) – Awarded to the boy or girl who has gained most points for their names or pictures appearing in local papers, national publications, printed in programmes or results, on T.V., speaking on the radio or any other times or places as long as there is a Seaford Striders connection.
Silly award(Made by Martin Bulger) An award reflecting something ’silly’ the recipient had done during the year. Any ideas may be given to Martin but bewared it may be you who is ‘silly’!
Most courageous award
Club Trophy, awarded to the boy or girl who has shown a lot of courage at one particular event or over the whole of the year.
Junior Strider’s Strider
An award given to the junior who has been voted the best junior Strider. This could be a friendly and helpful person, someone who regularly attends meetings and events or helps with organising, a good all round Strider.
Certificate of Merit
An award that recognises aspects of success not necessarily covered by the other awards
Adults call it “working out”. Kids call it “playing”.
